Lyricscroll is designed to work locally without an account. If you choose cloud backup, the app processes the information needed to sign you in, store your library, and sync it across devices.

When you use the app locally
Songs, setlists, display preferences, and related app data may be stored on your device so the core experience can work without signing in. Clearing the app or browser storage can remove this local copy.
When you enable cloud backup
If you sign in with Google or email, Lyricscroll processes your account identifier, such as your email address, plus the songs, setlists, sessions, and settings you choose to back up. Authentication and cloud infrastructure providers process information on Lyricscroll's behalf to provide these features.
Technical and support information
The service may process basic device, browser, diagnostic, security, and usage information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the app. If you request help, Lyricscroll handles the information you include in that request.
Why the information is used
- Provide local app features and remember preferences.
- Authenticate users who choose cloud backup.
- Back up, restore, and synchronize user-selected content.
- Operate sharing, live-session, and export features requested by the user.
- Protect the service, diagnose problems, and respond to support or legal requests.
Choice and control
You can use the core app without signing in. Cloud backup is optional. You can sign out to stop using cloud features on a device, clear local browser or app storage, and request deletion of a cloud-connected account. These actions are different; clearing a device does not by itself delete information already backed up to the cloud.
Sharing and service providers
Lyricscroll uses service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, synchronization, analytics, and security. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. Lyricscroll may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and security
Information is retained only while reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. The public app uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a protected email account and keep access to your device secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, object to or restrict processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or request deletion of personal information. Use the Support page for the current contact status and request guidance.
Children and changes
Lyricscroll is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the handling of personal information in their location. This notice may change as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
